KEYBOARDIST/ORGANIST
Summary
Peace Missionary Baptist Church is currently seeking an anointed Keyboardist/Organist immediately.
We’re looking for one with solid faith in Christ, dedication to God’s service, and a passion for music.
Responsibilities and Duties
You must love God and His Word
Reports to the Pastor, Deacons, & Music Director
Attend monthly music departmental meetings
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Must be able to play keyboard or organ, fluid in at least 6 out of 12 key signatures (transposing kept to a minimum).
Must have the ability to play by ear or read music.
Must be familiar with church hymnals, contemporary gospel, spiritual warfare, preaching chords, talking music, etc.
Must possess good improvisation skills for rearranging/remixing traditional hymns.
Must know how to operate “click tracks” and use a “talk back system.”
Must keep a good rapport with other musicians and be able to work as a team member of a growing band.
Must be able to attend all choir & musician rehearsals and open to learning new songs.
Must play during our Sunday worship service and MUST be in place 20 minutes before the call to worship, Funeral Services, Church programs, etc.
Must be emotionally responsible, mannerable, considerate, and service-oriented.
Must be organized.
Must have a reliable means of transportation.

Must be able to set and maintain tempo control.
Must have the ability to play by ear or read music.
Must be familiar with church hymnals, contemporary gospel, spiritual warfare, preaching chords, talking music, etc.
